A planning aid, not an authority

The calculators, decoders and the logbook are aids. They are not flight planning software, not a navigation source, and not approved or certified by any aviation authority. The pilot in command is solely responsible for checking every figure against the aircraft flight manual, official charts, current weather and the regulations that apply, before and during flight. Do not use results from this site as the only basis for a decision that affects safety. Recent-experience and logging pages quote the rule text with the section and the date we read it; rules change, and your authority’s current text governs.

Your output is free to use

What the tools produce for you (results, printed sheets, exported files and your own logbook data) is yours, for any purpose, including commercial use, with no attribution required. Third-party material listed on the credits page keeps its own licence. You may not copy, resell, mirror or repackage the site, its code or its design as a competing service, or use automated tools to copy the site in bulk or overload it.

No warranty

We test our results against independent reference values, but mistakes can still happen. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including loss of logbook data stored in your browser. Keep a backup. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The site’s design, code and text are © Winghours. Airport data comes from OurAirports, which publishes it into the public domain, and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy. Other sources are listed on the credits page, which is the authoritative list.
